Glad I’m not alone, checked down detector too and theres a massive number of login reports in the last hour. Have an email due to be scheduled in this afternoon for a client and I finish work for the day in an hour. This morning it said the account was ‘under maintenance’ when I tried to schedule it in earlier. Really poor show, Mailchimp.

So far things seem to be working correctly except that after having the user login at Mailchimp, the browser doesn't redirect back to my redirect_uri. It just stays on the Mailchimp login page. Mailchimp API login returning"bad request" - Stack Overflow
To the login.mailchimp.com server 127.0.0.1 is going to be itself and therefore it will not be able to call back to that URI. My other thought was the"code" attribute, maybe add quotes (") around it. That was kinda what I was thinking. It can't redirect to your internal IP address.
